Gimena Pino is a sociologist, a graduate of the University of the Republic, and an independent curator with experience in solo and group exhibitions. She has curated exhibitions in galleries, museums, public institutions, and private spaces. Her background includes research on museum legislation in Uruguay and audience studies, complemented by specializations in digital communication, video curating, and transmedia storytelling. She views art as a tool for social transformation, where each curatorial project becomes a space for multidisciplinary exploration that, through creative processes, seeks to integrate diverse audiences and promote alternative forms of participation that contribute to reflection on the relationship between the individual and the collective.
